Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor as well as a producer. She has been recognized for acting, and has been named one of the best-paid Bollywood actresses. Nush has also been a Brand Ambassador for several companies and she has her own women's clothing brand. Her work has also earned her appearance prominently in Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 at Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was born to a colonel who retired. The mother of Anushka is a housewife. Karnesh Sharma is her younger brother. He served in Merchant Navy, and is now a producer of films. Anushka is a graduate at the Army School Bangalore. She is also a bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka possesses a Master in Arts (Economics). Anushka Sharma did not want to become an actress. Instead, she wanted to either become a fashion model or writer. Anushka Sharma moved to Mumbai in order to enroll in Elite Model Management and be groomed under the guidance of stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka started modeling in 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. She was also selected to model the Spring Summer 2007, by Rodricks. Since her debut as a model at Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did several campaigns for brands like and she's done ads for the brands' Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio etc. Anushka started auditioning films and enrolled in an acting school along with her professional career as models. Anushka made her debut as an actor in 2008 in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in the film, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka Sharma took one day to practice for the screen test, and didn't want to make an unplanned version. Then she was offered three movies by Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a younger bride to the middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma played the role in the film "Badmash Co The film was released in 2010. The film also featured Shahid Kapoor and the actor Vir Das. The film was met with mixed receptions. The same year Anushka Sharma was seen in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' along with Ranveer Singh where she played the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who begins her own wedding planning business. It received a favourable review and was deemed to be a surprise and a huge success. Anushka had completed her three-film contract together with Yash Raj Films.
